PA E&J Long Brown Necklace
Hawksbill and cow horn, shells and snails, and fish scale quivers. The production of costume jewelry began with the use of the hawksbill turtle shell. This material was widely used to make the combs of the national skirt and later in charms and bracelets. As Panama has signed international agreements for the protection of this turtle, crafts produced with its shell have been prohibited. A classic in Panamanian crafts.
