CR LAZ Masks
They are made with balsa wood and are one of the most important artistic representations of the Boruca Maléku and Talamanca indigenous communities. They are mainly made in the southern area, in the Bruncas de Boruca towns, located in Buenos Aires de Puntarenas. The motifs of these masks are animals and elements typical of the indigenous worldview. A classic in Costa Rican crafts.
